These were the NICEST people. I’m a college girl who doesn’t know anything about cars and they were so nice and reassuring. They explained everything to me and even took the time to call my dad and give him the updates since he understood what they were talking about.

I highly recommend AAMCO Transmission and Total Car Care 100%!!! Their honesty and integrity is of the highest standard!!! My kids and I always know that they will treat us right and fair! As a woman you always fear auto shops will try to take advantage of you BUT NOT AAMCO!!! They pride themself on making customers for life and that’s exactly what my family and I are!!!!

I do not recommend this place to anyone. My son had his car in for a free estimate and husband had talked to them numerous times and not once did they inform him that the man working on this vehicle had to leave. instead of telling my husband they couldn't get to it they left it in terrible shape. There were tools left inside of it, bolts left just sitting on top of the engine. The pulley was completely off. The car was driven there but had to be towed home and towed back this morning. It’s so hard to find good quality automotive service today, I love the AAMCO policy of making sure I fully understand my repairs along with the nation wide warranty on my vehicle transmission! So if your clueless to what it takes to repair a vehicle this is the place to go, your hand is held from start to finish!

We came in with a dying battery. This is our only car, we were short on money, and we were desperate, since my husband needs a working car to get him to his medical treatments to live. We got to the location on Lee Highway around 3:30, and they had to special order a battery for us. Tim, the service manager, went out of his way to be sure we had the right part, in time before they closed, done right, and at the right price. We were in Chattanooga after evacuating from Hurricane Irma. These gentlemen got me right in and thankfully what I worried was a major problem was a computer issue. Quality, professional and all around awesome guys. Thank y'all so much.

Trans is 2yrs old with less than 20k on it. Already going bad do not recommend these 2bit mechanics. Took $2200 and 2 weeks to apparently do a terrible job. They don't stand by their work at all.

So....if you need any work done on your vehicle & want excellent customer service, fair pricing, & speedy service .... Call these guys!!Thompson (the owner) provided excellent customer service including complimentary water & peppermint patties � But most importantly they were very convenient...I called in the morning needing service for my brakes before I drive down to Atlanta Saturday. He said bring it by & we will look at it for free. I dropped my car off at 1:30pm they looked at it, gave me a quote which was reasonable. T... read more
