On July 1st 1985 Scott Steadham and Coy Stone opened A-1 Small Engines for the logging industry A-1 Small Engines then changed gears and looked to offer more products for the commercial tree service, landscape, and that the homeowner could benefit from. As time passed, A-1 Small Engines grew, the need for more lines of equipment became necessary such as, Stihl, Scag ,Gravely , Exmark ,Billy goat , Honda and Arborist supplies . Went in to buy a full commercial lawn care setup to replace a flooded trailer full of equipment. Went to the counter to ask if they could price out a complete package and I was told they don’t do package pricing without any additional questions or suggestions. Here’s the thing, I wasn’t asking for a discount or special pricing, I just wanted to know what the price was going to be altogether, but the guy behind the counter was all to happy to just tell me “no” instead of asking what I was after. Gregory not only delivered our new ExMark but he said it would cut time and it shaved over 2.5 hours off of our 3 acres we cut. My wife and I were shocked(pleasantly) and the Stihl 111 weeder. The power and ability blew me away. I am going to sell both of my craftsmen chainsaw and invest in a Stihl 25” Saw. Folks, come see them. First off ,they didn't communicate with me that my generator were ready. I had to call them! They said they couldn't fix one the generator so when i went to pick them up, they did not reassemble the generator they said they COULDN'T FIX, the guy said i will charge u 75.00 to put back together. Are you kidding me, so u already charge me shop cost , and you wouldn't put it back together. I would STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE... THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR THE EQUIPMENT YOU BRING THEM TO GET HELP WITH!

A-1 small engines is by far the best in the business, I have been doing business with them for over 30 years. I wont go anywhere else. I have purchased a Zero Turn mower ,trimmer,chain saws Bed covers. Floor liners. Utility Trailers open and enclosed and many other parts Their prices are competitive and the customer service is A-1.
