Great place, great staff. Sallie the dog loved it and she's not too keen on vets. Dr. Randy was very thorough and gentle with her.

My 2 year old siberian husky hasnt been herself and sick with diarrhea and vomiting a few times. Then on top of it got bit/stung by something and her snout swelled twice the size. Took her to my regular vet and they might as well of told me they didn't care and weren't worried about her, so i was in search for a new vet because she is not acting herself. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this clinic. I had been going to established practice in the South Hills for 20 years but decided to try A Step Up due to its location as well as some dissatisfaction with my current Vets. From the beginning I recognized how special these folks are. They listened - sent me home with handouts on my cat's (Dude) health - readjusted his thyroid meds and diagnosed his need for dental surgery. Dude was underweight but no more!!! We have been going here since We got our new puppy this past September and there is no where I'd rather go. They are always friendly and kind very thorough. I'm so glad someone told me about them when we were looking for a vet. I look forward to many more years there.
Felt extremely comfortable here with the care my dog will be receiving. I am so glad I got a second opinion and this vet actually listened to what was going on. They don't try to upsell you or make you think your pet is sicker than he is. I will be bringing all of my pets here from now on and will recommend them to anyone and everyone.
