First visit. Our waiter was really good: Christian. The duck fat frites were amazing! The rest? Many pieces of it were really good, but there were too many competing flavors on each plate. The wagyu beef was super tasty. The lentils under it were as well. But the 2 together were an odd pair, and all the rest of items on the plate were just too much competing flavors for one dish. I love Pig in a Fur Coat! Definitely be sure to check out the Pizza lunch! They have one the 3rd Wednesday of every month! So good!
We went here to celebrate a milestone birthday of mine and it was fantastic. We went early and had the place to ourselves on a Monday. Kelly is a fantastic server. We had the olives, poutine, lamb carpaccio, foie gras mousse, and the waygu beef. For dessert, the Panna cotta, and Sicilian Sfingi, it was All so good.
How will I ever try other Madison restaurants now that I’ve been here? Fabulous from start to finish, food and service. We’ll be back.
