If you are looking for a casual, kid friendly restaurant with local southern charm and some of the most robust and flavorful dishes, a Lowcountry Backyard is perfect. Our kids are 6, 2, and 6m for parents of littles that are interested. The kids Mac and Cheese is amazing, whipped mashed potatoes are delicious! Fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, there was also a dish with mushrooms (like a shrimp and mushroom pot pie) that was mouthwatering! If your on the fence, give it a try!
Quaint atmosphere. Ordered the backyard benedict for brunch. Sampled my wifes shrimp and grits and the bananas foster french toast. Everything surpassed expectation.

This restaurant was absolutely one of the best places I've ever been to for good old southern style cooking; and what really makes this place even more appealing is the cozy atmosphere of dining in a backyard while sitting under beautiful overflowing trees and listening to music at the same time! The shrimp and grits is a must have!!!!
