Food was delicious and atmosphere very nice. If I could give 4.5 stars I would have just because the sweet tea wasn't sweet enough. But I felt like it was closer to 5 stars than 4. We had short rib tacos, coleslaw and red rice for lunch, then carrot cake and banana pudding for dessert.

Love this place!!! Nothing in the menu disappoints!
The BEST! The Shrimp and Grits were amazing. Wonderful for celiac or gluten sensitive patrons. Items that could be made GF (which were most, but not all) were clearly marked on menu. Service was beyond exceptional! We were a party of 15 and our server didn't miss a beat! I think her name was Mary. We went twice while in HH for family reunion.
I had crab cakes, they were good .also the raspberry vinegar dressing was excellent, the fruit bowl was refreshing.
The best Shrimp and Grits I have ever had! The service was excellent, wait staff cheerful and nice. Very cute, smaller place so go early to avoid crowds

Our meals came out and we sat waiting for silver ware. (Three came out first and we asked and waited. ) The waitress had no problem taking care of the other three tables. Our bill would've been higher had she ever came by us instead of just past us. The food was unique and tasted wonderful. The atmosphere was rustic and cute. The server did bring a ... read more

Sorry about your experience. It does not sound like the norm. Can you tell me your servers name so that we may address this? Thanks. Dave
This was the best breakfast I have had in ages. I had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was perfect, and everything else was equally perfect. My S.O. had the Benedict. It was also delicious. There's seriously hash brown casserole ON the Benedict. You have to try this place. It's worth the price (which I didn't find to be too bad, considering the food quality and portion sizes). This isn't your "basic" diner. The atmosphere is quaint and tucked away, the opposite of a Denny's vibe.
Best Mac N Cheese on the island! And you have to try the mashed potatoes. The meatloaf was good but you're going to taste it for the rest of the day. My husband had the crab cakes and they were fabulous!
