A Fox Physical Therapy is trying to keep money due me from co-pays. I have paid them over $600 in co-pays over the past few months and my insurance company has paid them also, with the intent that they would refund that money to me. They are refusing to give me that money. I’ve notified my insurance company and they contacted A. Fox and told her this is illegal and she could be prosecuted. Today I had my first ever virtual physical therapy session with Lucas Armstrong at A. Fox Physical Therapy. It was great! I was seeing another PT the old fashioned way before our world turned upside down, but I was set up as a tele-patient in no time. It took a few to get used to positioning the camera (it’s for my foot) but he was super patient, knowledgeable, and I learned a few new things that I think are really going to make a difference. Want to start off by saying their staff is wonderful. They provide great care and understanding. But when it comes to there policy for canceling appointments is another thing. There is no such thing as a 24 hour cancellation with them. You would think. If you give the 24 hour notice it would not be held against you. Think again. So once you have 5 cancellations they charge you. So be aware
Very professional. With kindness and understanding. They truly know what they are doing. You will be in good hand if you need to go there.
They have the most amazing office staff who understood and worked with me through my anxiety to get me scheduled as soon as possible. The front desk staff was so caring and helpful. The therapist I saw, Jeni, was so patient and took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything, she even got a spine model to show me what is happening in my spine and how the exercises we are starting with will help and how they look on the spine when they’re done correctly. They are charging me extra because I changed by insurance. Now I am getting a bill for the "extra charges" even though I have paid at each and every single visit cash. Now they want MORE Money? Really?
