Darlene was so nice and very professional, she gave me the exact style I asked for. While styling my hair she explained how I could style my hair to get the same salon look.
I have to agree, Darlene is fantastic! Shes been cutting my hair for over 3 years now but Ive been coloring it myself until I recently made a mess of it. The color turned the blackest black when it should have been light brown, and I had orange and yellow spots and gray roots. I immediately thought of Darlene because in my years of going to her Ive seen her color work and it always looks great. She took me on and I sat in her chair a few hours but it was worth it. I live in concord NC and I have been looking for a good salon to go to for years and today was the day!!! I went in to get my hair cut short for the first time and was scared and Darlene made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She talked me through the whole thing. I took in some pictures of some of the hair styles that I liked and she told me what would look good with my face shape and style. When she was finished with my hair I loved it!!!!!! I have a movement disorder and she works with me and does what I want her to with my hair, sideburns. She also waxes my eyebrows. She always makes me feel I look better for having gone there. She gives suggestions and helps me a lot.I recommend her to all my family and friends and some have gone there, some are going to. Ive never had a problem there like the reviewer above that didnt give her name.Ive never even heard anyone complain; only say nice things.I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.
