Im hard to please but I am very happy with My hair. I got it died and hi lited and cut and Im happy with it all. Im always doing sumthin different to my hair so it makes me happy to know I can trust Darleen to do a good job. I want to look good at my work so now I feel a lot better.
I feel blessed to have found both Darlene and her salon. I was shopping at South Park Mall one weekend and just loved the sales girls hair. After telling her so I asked where she got it done. Being fairly new to the area I needed some guidance. She went to get me Darlenes card and I called her for an appointment right away. She does live up to her reputation. Personally I have been very happy with my hair since coming here. My name is Sara Carpenter. I am very much a real person and a real customer. We moved to Concord in April of 2005 and I found Darlene at that time. Its been about 3 years and I have never had a complaint. I know my neighbor and her teen girls have been going for a few years longer than me. What I do know is that I myself have to make my appointments well ahead of time because she stays very busy. I got my hair done today and I am so excited!!!! I love it!!!! I cant wait to get to work tomorrow for all my friends and people I work with to see. Its the best my hair has looked in years and years. It was so worth going here. Its close to my house which is a plus for me but Id drive 30 or 40 minutes if I had to so I could get these results. Really great hair color and cuts from here. It seems to be the "it" place to go for hair color around here. My daughter and I both go here. I go to who ever can work me in but my daughter will only see Darlene, but then she is a very picky teenager. We are both happy and everyone else we know who goes here is very happy too.
Thankfully I was able to get in here to get my hair fixed. I am more than happy with the outcome of my hair. The cut and coloring are both just perfect. I like for my hair to look stylish but I dont want to look as if Im trying to look 20 again either. Most places have made me feel like Im starting to look like my mom (who I love dearly just dont want to look like her) or give me a look that would be more for one of my daughters. I was thrilled with my recent visit to this hair salon. My appointment was with Darlene and she did a superb job with my difficult hair. The color did as I expected, it covered the gray and even had pretty highlites. I wasnt sure about getting the highlites since that was an avenue I had never ventured but its actually very becoming. My cut was perfect and she didnt try to talk me into cutting it real short even though Im 30-something, other haircutters usually do try to get me to cut it short. I have been a regular client here for about 5 years and have always been very happy and satisfied. I have thick hair with natural curls. The price has always been more than reasonable and she knows what shes doing. She helps everyone by showing pictures and making sure she understands what youre wanting. I had the best experience here! Finally, after 2 years of searching! I moved from NY where I had a fabulous hairdresser and for the life of me I just couldnt find anyone here in Concord to color and cut my hair like I wanted. I found Darlene and twice she has done my hair and its fabulous. She is wonderful at her work and I highly recommend her to anyone who is particular about their hair!
