Were able to save my padlock I managed to lock the only key to the padlock on our film crew's grip truck the last day of a three week shoot. It was an hour and a half until call time and I had already ruined a pair of bolt cutters and exhausted the rest of my knowledge of locks (none) to no avail. Desmond is awesome! Desmond is awesome! Extremely nice and helpful. Had a difficult front door with a unique lock that he had to go get a part for. Took time out of his day, I'm sure, to do this, but he went ahead and did it so that all of our doors were keyed alike in our new home. Highly recommend him and A-1!
Would call them again if needed. I called other locksmiths in the area but no one else was as fast or reasonable! The locksmith was at my apartment in less than 20 minutes and had the door open in less than 5 minutes. He was extremely friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would call them again if needed.
Thank you so much! We flew back into Grand Rapids from a week long trip out of state to find that we had lost our car key. It was late Sunday afternoon and no dealers were open. Onstar was able to get us into the car, out of the weather, but we still had no way to start the car. We called A-1 Locksmith Service. They took our VIN# and were able to make a key and get us back underway within an hour. Thank you to Desmond and Pat! We were very pleased with their professionalism and efficiency! A1 though was so quick! I was locked out of an apartment and tried a different local locksmith first, which to my disappointment, never showed up! A1 though was so quick! Less than 10 minutes after I made the call and Desmond made me feel so at ease after the frustration of my morning.
