A-1 is a great store! I have been going there for years and the gentleman Ralph is nothing but helpful. I not only go here to buy jewelry but to sell things as well. Highly recommend!!

Have been coming here for years! They always take great care of me and my jewelry. Have gotten multiple cleanings and adjustments to my necklaces and they always are on time and do wonderful work. Recently Ralph guided me with picking from arrange of stones to set in a piece I ordered. I wasn't aware you can customize pieces. Will always come back!

I came here to get an appraisal on some old coins that were given to me. When I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome by a gentleman named Ralph... who turned out to be the owner of the store. He was very honest and helpful in answering my questions. I highly recommend this place for all your jewelry and coin needs!

Fantastic business etiquette! In my hunt to get the best money for my scrap jewelry and a few collectible coins, I found A1 Jewelry and Coin. They were very knowledgeable about my coins and gave me a very quick and fair appraisal of my coins as well as a strong offer on the gold and platinum jewelry. Upon completing my search of 8 or so buy and sell businesses, the best offer came from A1 so I returned to sell. By the time I returned to sell, gold prices had dropped a little over $5 and platinum had dropped slightly as well.... read more

Ralph, the owner, is very customer centric and accommodating as well as always ensuring the most competitive prices. My family and I have been going to Ralph at A-1 Jewelry & Coin as he is very knowledgeable, pricing is great and service is amazing. I just recently purchased a morganite pendant for a close friend and she absolutely loves it. The store also does repairs which are great as well.

I went to A-1 Jewelry and Coin to sell some collectible coins and paper money I inherited from my grandfather. The owner, I think his name is Ralph, knew all the rare dates by heart. He showed great expertise in his ability to grade the condition of my coins and currency. Other places offered me just the gold and silver weight value for my coins. They didn't even know what the old rare paper money I had was worth. A-1 Jewelry and Coin is the top buyer in all of Chicagoland.

My husband purchased my engagement ring from A-1 Jewelry & Coin. He had it custom made, from picking the perfect diamond to finding the exact band that I would love. Since my ring was created, I have been back to A-1 several times to have my ring polished and cleaned. The guys at A-1 Jewelry & Coin are always wonderful.
