I spoke with Jake Lewis and Carynes Gitler on several occasions. I am so impressed. They walked me through the process and reached out to my son to get the application done in a timely manner. Very nice place but nonsense extra fees even during break. Staff couldn’t explain it, they were rude because of this issue. Too expensive!
I’ve lived here since August 2017 and everything was okay! Around November/December Next Chapter Properties started adding additional fees to my already expensive rent! Supposedly I went over the “cap” for my electricity and water, billing my roommate and myself two separate payments! I’ve paid about 300$ extra in fees aside of my rent which is stressful! It’s a nice looking apartment complex except it’s entirely too expensive!
These apartments are awesome! It’s in a great location on campus, super close to County Market and the bars. When I first started looking into these apartments, Autumn was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Whenever I look into apartments, it’s really important to me how the staff interacts with tenants and potential tenants, so it was comforting to see a staff so clearly dedicated to helping you find the best apartment for you. I lived here my junior year in a two bedroom apartment and it was the worse experience of my life. The employees are rude and the company scams you out of your money. Also, they changed the lease after I signed it, the lease I had was the original and their new copy had scratch offs of the original move out date and monthly rent payment. BEWARE!!!!!! I had to seek lawyers and legal representation to get me out of the lease, so I could move out. Their inconsistency was easily pointed out by professionals.
