Very sad that the building announced, with no notice and recently after we and many others signed our leases again, that they are banning dogs from the amenity deck, removing the dog park and building a newer, smaller one, attached to the parking garage near 90 Columbus (which defeats the purpose of why we chose 50 Columbus). We loved living here but will not be signing our lease again and feel betrayed. I’ve been a resident for about 2 years and it’s mostly been great. However, they recently announced they’re closing the entire outdoor amenity space to dogs and removing the nice dog park! And they’re assigning a smaller out of the way space for the dogs. So many people in the building have dogs, and it feels like an insult to push us out of the way (not to mention if we’re grilling, our dog can’t even be on leash with us). If you have or are thinking of getting a dog, you’re better off in another building!
UPDATE - After writing this review, management has been much more responsive and action oriented to resolutions.e DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. If you run into any sort of issue, management and maintenance are the absolute worst. They will not respond, nor will they fix and handle any problems. Before we moved in, we did an apartment inspection. The maintenance employee told us that he would fix any problems such as the broken mirror doors in the bathroom and replacing our leaky kitchen faucet before we officially move in the fo... read more
