Have respect for people's time! Active duty husband was given 5 min of doctor's time and a chest x-ray. Then waited 3 HOURS to hear the results, only to have to leave because the doctor never came back out before the facility closed.
It's difficult to get an appointment, you wait half the day to have 5 minutes with a Dr. Referrals are a joke ..both trying to get one and to check on them. Lastly but most importantly, their pharmacy is AWFUL. you stand in line an hour at 11 to only activate it and be told it can't be completed that day,....what? you have 5.5 hours. then you leave/come back and wait an hour in line to get the script.
We have had a great experience at the 42nd Medical Group - the care we received at the pediatric clinic, lab, and immunizations was excellent! The RMC was also very helpful in resolving some referral issues we had. I was very impressed overall with the customer service - everyone was polite and friendly which is sadly not often the case at military facilities! Kudos to the 42nd Medical Group!
Someone with some authority needs to pay attention to these negative posts & figure it out........

I don't understand the new prescription drop-off for the drive-thru. Will not be using it again. dropped two prescriptions for my son and their last week, never got a phone call or anything indicating something was wrong went by today to pick them up, they had apparently been misplaced, after finding them they explained that something was wrong with one of the prescriptions and they could fill the other. Good things these aren't super time-critical I guess.
Release of Information office will not answer their telephones, will not return voicemail, and are so delinquent, their voicemail is now full and you cannot leave a message.
Was told to pick up my meds in a hour and get back an hour later and I’m told I can’t get one of them until two days from now. Did I mention I’ve waited an hour to get told this. I live 70 miles away. Take several, several meds. I can’t ride to Montgomery three or four times a week to pick up meds. Two days, ridiculous.
The facility is nice. There are some great dr.’s and a few friendly customer service employees. Overall it’s disappointing. I am trying to be proactive and find solutions. I am on the patient & family advisory council to try & improve the clinic but it seems the same issues that have been brought up continue to happen. Communication & follow up seem to be a HUGE downfall here. Also phone etiquette & friendly customer service are very lacking. I hope the new Med Commander can make some great changes!
