Five days after ordering a set of 4 shocks I decided to email them to inquire about the status. I was informed via email that it is on backorder for months. They had no problem charging my credit card, though. I responded asking them to cancel the order and they replied that I should wait 3-5 business days for a credit. Guess what? Nine days later and still no credit. Dispute has been filed with card company.
Stay away from these people. I ordered a set of 4 tires and rims back on 1/28/19 + mount and balance. Looked as if they were in stock and would ship quickly. Shortly thereafter i saw a couple of tracking numbers and thought my items were on the way, turns out that was just 2 of the items being shipped to a different store. I waited a bit longer and on 2/6 my credit card was charged so I thought they'd be on the way shortly, not so. 4WD parts is not a honorable company! I purchased a smittybilt tent on 11/20/18. On December 5th I noticed it being advertised on their website for cheaper. Their website says they have a price match guarantee 90 days after your purchase. I sent an email in regards to the price match on December 5th while the sale was still going on. They are the worst company ever! I ordered rims. Their website said they were in stock. After a month, still no shipping. They told me it would be an additional 2.5 weeks for them to make it to their warehouse. I then requested a refund and they decided to ship me the rims anyways from another warehouse. They arrived damaged and wasn’t even the correct size. I returned them and they will not refund me! How are they even open? Worst company ever.
They sent me a product that would not work so I had to ship it back on my own Dime,It cost me $44 on a $200 item to send back, they receive the product on October 10- 2018, on October 22 I was still told it was waiting to be checked in, they will let me know when it gets checked in and then I will have to wait 10 days before a referred will be scheduled. They have the worst customer service of anyone I’ve ever worked with. Terrible communication! They could care less about their customers

Buyer Beware - 4WD.com - Not honoring a posted promotion. I order a Bestop replacement top that was listed as on sale and applicable for a $50 mail in rebate. I have the receipt that they sent me which reiterates the $50 mail in rebate. Ordered a oil pan which was supposedly in stock in January was told after order it was gonna be February bc not in stock, then march and now mid April. This company sucks. Why advertise products or allow purchase if they aren't in stock. What a rip off
i sit here in total disbelief that a company this incompetent remains open for business and is not ran by the gov. i ordered rock rails for a wrangler 7 days ago off eBay because they had a 97% positive feed back. i received the package surprisingly fast. i opened the box the next day to mount the rail/steps and boom only one rail is shipped. there is a pic on the box and says 1of 2 by the company, however ups shipping slip says 1of1. no phone number on the packing slip and nothing is clearly stated as far as order number. i... read more
