Beatiful setting. TERRIBLE service. If you have a party of more than 4 (ours was 5) you MUST make a reservation. Even if their house is half full with multiple tables open, they will make you wait 45-1hr for a table without a reservation. Attempts to reason with the staff on accommodating us at one of their available tables that seats 4 by adding a chair, were unsuccessful. We confirmed they were not 'reserved for others'. Yesterday was a day where the road did not agree with me. So I chose to eat light: the salad with salmon, cashews and goat cheese. (Okay, my beloved had the duck breast; we gave one another samples). I enjoyed my salad so much that I made a promise to make it when I returned home. I liked the way the cashews' 'sweet' played off the salmon's salt. We had room for the blueberry bread pudding. We live out of town but was there a year ago and loved it.....good food and nice setting!
