So many people referred us to 28 South, we went and we were not disappointed! In fact we will be going back for sure! EVERYTHING was delicious! Best birthday dinner EVER! Our waiter was great, friendly, and helpful with our choices being our first time there. Food and drinks! Great food and time!
So poorly ran. My wife and I tried coming here twice. The first time we went around 7 o’clock on a weekend. The restaurant was pretty empty. We sat down at a table when the bar tender told us to. 20 minutes later we ended up walking out because no one served us. We tried going there again thinking it was a bad night. This is the whistle stop in Flavor Town! Cajun Elvis Burger! Do not get this if you don’t want your tongue slapping yourself with sheer joy!!! Love it! Everything about the place I like!
Great food. Great location. Great staff. Always very friendly and smiling, and haven't had anything from the menu I haven't approved of.
We stopped at 28 South on our way home from a weekend away. The Brisket was excellent but the Duck was not what I expected it to taste. Our waitress took the Duck off our bill (very nice of her) and the manager came out and ask if they could make me something else. (He said he didn't want me to be hungry) We will stop again but I think I will try a burger. Waitress said they are very good

Very friendly staff in a lively atmosphere. Lots of craft beers on tap, interesting menu including an Elvis Cajun burger complete with peanut butter. Salmon patties were very good. I recommend the maple fig house dressing on your salad. Definitely order the fireball shrimp. Huge serving and delicious!
