I am NOT impressed with 28 South. While waiting for my niece to try out for Teen Idol, I waited 22 minutes before anyone came to my table to offer me water let alone get my order. Well it came time for my nieces audition and they missed out on getting my business. I should not have to wait that long before getting any service.
Came for brunch had Poached Eggs Chesapeake it was AWESOME!!! The bloody Mary was also tasty. The beer cheese was YUMMY too. Service was excellent. I plan on coming back.

I got the tofu scramble and was very excited to not only have more than one vegetarian option, but to have something more unusual like the tofu scramble. It was DELICIOUS. Very good, thank you for catering to vegetarian and vegan customers! My boyfriend got he stuffed portobello mushrooms and also thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The service was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back!
Finally a change in the menu. The hot dog was good, but was easily Outshined ( rip Chris ) by the homemade bread pudding and ice cream.
Came here for the first time ever on Thursday! Food was fantastic and our wait staff was so kind and polite! Definitely will be coming back in the near future! Thank you! �
