Great place to go, couldn’t believe it was a free zoo. Where I’m from they would charge 50$ a person.
I had a great time with the kids. I would definitely go back. Lots of exhibits so leave yourself lots of time
Went on the Sunday night, had an amazing experience, the live ice sculptures were awesome and fun. The staff was very friendly defiantly and new family tradition.
Went to Zoo Lights the last night, Jan 7. Street parking was impossible so we paid the $26 to park in the Conservatory lot, which is small. Then inside, extra activities were offered for small fees: carrousel, light maze, Ferris wheel. In my opinion, everyone who pays to park should be able to use their parking stub to enter these activities for free. I did not saw any animals... But the lights are pretty. The weather was the problem.
The Zoolight'sevent was spectacular and so very organized. The children was entertained and the weather although light snow the temperature was tolerable.
Closing early without any warning. Even checked the website before we left. A lot of dissatisfied people traveled far to be there.
It's great and free which is even better, well laid out and the kids love it
