For 25 years the 19th Street Diner has been a Glenwood favorite for traditional diner eats. Family owned and operated, this "locals" joint has been a great stop for tourists looking for something better than the corporate restaurants that are in their own town. Staples such as Chicken Fried Steak, juicy 1/2# Burgers, the best Huevos Rancheros, Omelets, Salads, and homemade Chilis. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served all day (with a few exceptions). Great spot, take a slow down and step back in time with this delicious nook of a “greasy spoon” Wonderful atmosphere and great vibes inside and out. Tucked away off the bustling hi way. Nice alley way feel. Good spot for all folks and walks of life alike. Menu is extensive and boast multiple different styles and offerings. A must stop for anyone with an appetite.
Walked in and immediately knew it was going to be amazing! The smells were intoxicating! We got coffee, biscuits and gravy, and chicken fried steak breakfast style! What a filling and delicious meal 😊
Quite literally the worst breakfast I’ve had in a LONG time. The food is Bleh, no seasoning. French toast taste like your drinking fryer oil. The 1 star is for the super friendly staff. The food is so freaking awful. I have no idea why this place has good reviews. Must be the lack of good food in Glenwood springs, don’t visit this place if you’re a foodie.
Ordered the Spanish Benedict and two eggs, bacon and biscuit. I should have checked the menu instead of just hearing Spanish and making assumptions. It was scrambled eggs with beef on a very crispy tortilla with a healthy amount of chipotle hollandaise sauce. It wasn't a Benedict in anyway that I've ever imagined but that's my fault. The potatoes were perfect. Biscuit was great and coffee was as expected. Service was great and food was quick.
Awesome Breakfast! Waitress Nico was on the spot and kept my drinks full!! This place is definitely local the place to go for breakfast!!! Three egg meat omelette with side of bacon, cottage cheese, English muffin and home fries!!!! Heart attack on a plate!!!! Love it!!!
