Having moved from West Hollywood going to AHF to Bham going to 1917, it’s clear my california healthcare was the platinum standard. Dermatology and dental practices have a years wait. I am happy for their other services but definitely miss all the services california offers, including Medicaid expansion.

I understand it may be the best clinic in Alabama that being said it wouldn’t make the top 100 in the country . My recommendation is to move if you have hiv and want doctors that are not laughed at by peers in the other 49 states. Uab bullies majority of grants and funding away from other hospitals in the state and therefore is seen as the best while having below average standards when it comes to quality of doctors .
