Amazing food, staff, and all around vibe. A gem in Mason City.
We walked up to the restaurant because it said that reservations were recommended not required! There were 2 couples already seated. It was 6:09 PM. The hostess told us we couldn't be seated until 8:00 PM. We walked backed three times after that between the the time of 6:30 to 7:45 and there were never more than 8 couples in the restaurant! In other words the place was empty! I asked where all the people were that had reservations. The manager said well, we can't control who shows up! B.S.!!!! Great staff, amazing drinks, dinner was incredible (grilled swordfish and a filet) but breakfast..... wow..... best we've ever had! Gyro omelet and a The Guggenheim omelet (smoked salmon, spinach with other yummies) and banana fritters! Left us speechless! We can't wait to come back!
