1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. Very nice selection of beer on tap, friendly staff and the food we saw coming from the kitchen looked awesome! We stopped by with full bellies, but will be back for some food! I have my eye on those fish tacos :-)

Our new favorite place for brunch! Fantastic Bloody Mary's. I recommend the 1909. Nice and spicy.
I really wanted to love this place but my belly does the talking for me. I ordered the pork belly mac & cheese and a bowl of chilli. The mac & cheese needed more flavor. The only saltiness I got was from the melted cheddar on top, not the pork, so that was disappointing. The chilli was different than I anticipated.
