Good BBQ, slow server (not horribly slow). Mash potatoes were great
I loved this place. We went for our anniversary last night! Got a drink at the bar before we got our table. The bartender was nice and suggested great places to to after for drinks and live music. Our waitress was super nice and very helpful with the menu. Everything we ate was amazing. And their BBQ sauce is to die for! The atmosphere is perfect as well. So glad we finally went. I definitely recommend going. And we will be back! Great job y'all!!
Samantha our server was wonderful, she was well informed on the menu and provided wonderful recommendations, burnt ends, fried okra, greens were excellent. Recommend eating in the Roost as downstairs is horribly loud
The best friend pies and ice cream, mix berries crostada is my favorite too
Unfortunately one horrible experience can permanently change a year of good experiences. I ordered Togo lunch for my girlfriend and I today. Burnt ends were sold out so the store substituted a fried, cheaper vegetable for a meat entree. The insult to injury is the lack of concern to correct the issue by management. The person who answered the phone and identified herself as a manager gifted me with the worst restaurant experience I've had in Dallas to date! Well, first of all, being from the Kansas City area this place left a lot to be desired. The meat had no resemblance of the KC style. The price for what you got was ridiculous. I felt that l just threw money out of the window. The staff was very nice but it couldn't make up for the lack of worth in my estimation. If you like overpriced food that just doesn't do it for you, this is the place to go, but if you want bang for the buck then stay clear of this establishment.
