In this beautifully muted, intimate space, you get the opportunity to sample excellent contemporary sushi and rolls. If you're feeling flush, order the chef's tasting menu and put yourself in Masato Shimizu's capable hands; or you can order from the a la carte menu. The fish is incredibly fresh and buttery and whilst the food is pricey, it's a delightful foray into authentic Japanese cuisine. A meal at 15 East will surely be a feast for the palate.

Overrated. Great location, decent food, overly structured service. Its all very nice and polite, but it felt clinical. Diners were on a service conveyor belt, and the waiter even had rehearsed jokes, plating suggestions, and demanded too much attention to himself for a fine dining experience, let alone a Japanese dining experience.
Quality of the fish was definitely good but sorry it was completely overpriced for its size and for the simplicity of the dishes. Hoped to get much better at this price range.
Great sushi, but could do better at this price level.
