In this beautifully muted, intimate space, you get the opportunity to sample excellent contemporary sushi and rolls. If you're feeling flush, order the chef's tasting menu and put yourself in Masato Shimizu's capable hands; or you can order from the a la carte menu. The fish is incredibly fresh and buttery and whilst the food is pricey, it's a delightful foray into authentic Japanese cuisine. A meal at 15 East will surely be a feast for the palate.

DONT GET NEAR THIS PLACE!!! highly expensive and very very overpriced! the portion that you get for the meals compared to what youre paying is a joke! you pay loads of money for a very small size meal. the quality of the service and food is great but not as expected for the price youre paying and a disappointment in its quality. you can go to china town and get way better food for a cheaper price and bigger portions. dont come to this place unless youre trying to show off with a golddigger!
Amazing dinner last night at 15 East. The Kumamoto Oysters in Ponzu granita with pickled radish kicked it off nicely followed by the richness and melt in your mouth smoked Berkshire kurobuta. The charcoal grilled gindara was delicious! And of course the sashimi omakase was to die-for, in particular the aburi oh-toro, Sakuramasu and the akamatsu. I am still thinking of how they melted in my mouth! And to cap it - mineoka, milk sesame pudding with kurosato syrup topped with almond tuille. Truly one of the best!
