Fantastic - no clue what the haters are on about – Zumba's is absolutely awesome. The food is made right in front of you and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. I have NO CLUE why someone would actually say Baja Fresh is better than Zumba's. Baja Fresh is okay, but all the flavors meld into a nondescript "Mexcan-y" glop. Zumba's lets you pick your individual toppings as well and each are bursting with flavor. When I get black bean tacos (on a soft corn tortilla), I can taste the black beans, the corn, the fresh green cilan... read more
Fast, Fresh, Great Mexican food. – It's tiny, it's quick, and it's good. What more could you want? Did I mention cheap? it's that too! I love their fish tacos and their Mexican chicken. Best to get n go, but the outside seating is fun.
Zumba is a small restaraunt in downtown Royal Oak that serves up a limited, but fantastic menu of Mexican food. The burritos are what keep me, family and friends from returning (including out of town guests). They are HUGE and are very good! Staff is great and the food is made right in front of you!
Not much to look at, but good food! – We've been here several times, and while it's fast-food style ordering, the food is great, and at a decent price. More than what I would usually pay for a relatively quick bite, but the quality of food has always been very good and pretty filling. Beats Taco Bell hands down.
I CRAVE Zumba's (and I live in L.A.)! – Zumba's is one of the healthiest YUMMIEST places I used to eat at ONCE or TWICE A WEEK when I used to live in MI. Now that I live in L.A., where there's a Mexican restaurant or taco stand on every corner, I can't find anything comparable to Zumba's - now I crave ZUMBA'S! Everything is FRESH and the guac is OUT OF THIS WORLD - not too spicy - just absolutely perfect! Try it once and you'll be addicated!
Mexican quick eats that are great for the hungry, hurried and healthy. – In Short Atmosphere isn't the point at Zumba--it's Mexican chow that's cheap, fast and healthy. Elbow up to the steel countertop, sit on a rock hard stool and wolf down a 10-minute meal with the other hip cats and night owls. Standard Mexican items--burritos, quesadillas--mix with a few originals, like Tacon, a crispy cone shaped tortilla, or the Bowl-Rito--a tortilla-less burrito in a bowl. Vegetarian-friendly, Zumba prepares beans without oil or short... read more
Beats the chain down the street anyday When a popular Mexican chain restaurant moved in down the street from Zumba, some wondered if this small Royal Oak gem would be over powered by its competitors commercial appeal. Yet, thanks to its friendly staff and delicious authentic Mexican food, Zumba continues to thrive. The food is prepared fresh on a grill behind the counter. The salsa bar gives patrons the freedom to load up on their favorite salsas without additional charge. Zumba’s only two flaws: limited parking and sparse, ... read more
Yummy! Zumba's offers a simple menu of excellent mexican food. It's fresh and it's easy on the wallet. Their service is fast. But watch out they're not always friendly. The chips and salsa are wondeful. Great salsa bar!
whats so special – ok, this is suppost to be some great mexican place to eat. Why? It is an americanized eatery worse then its chain competitor down the street. This is an average mexican wanna be. I admit the staff is friendly but the food is average at best. My burrito poorly made the first time I went and the second time I was there was soggy and not tasteful. I hope there are better things to come.
