We've lost a few good Italian restaurants over the years in Boulder County, some beloved places! We had been meaning to try Zucca for a long time but always ended up at the empire instead because of OpenTable. We tried this place on Saturday and it was heaven! I've lived and traveled extensively through Italy and I felt that this was one of those Italian restaurants that an Italian wouldn't hate. We loved everything! I had the Pork Scaloppine and it was awesome. Happy hour was awesome and also a great deal!
Visiting from Wisconsin and staying in Boulder and had a friend from Denver select an Italian Restaurant for a get-together. He checked for a place in between the cities and suggested Zucca. He and his wife had never been there but we decided to give it a try. I wanted Italian since I had grown up with Italian neighbors and loved the food. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. My God , that was the best pasta sauce I had ever had in 60 years. Outstanding !! My Denver friends told me they now had a new restaurant to frequent..
The fettuccini vodka rustica was great! Portions are a little on the smaller side, but not unfairly small by any means. One of my favorite places to eat in Louisville!
Food wasn't very good, especially for the price. Barely saw the waiter except to bring food and the check.
