They are the best I have ever owned. They work!! Some issues at the beginning, which are being worked out.
Only 1 in 5 people that have hearing aids, actually wear them. I have paid for approximately 3 sets of hearing aids that I do not use. I have not been satisfied with the performance of the hearing aids, nor with handling the small batteries. I have a hand tremor so I have a very difficult time changing the batteries. I have worn hearing aids for years and the biggest problem I had with them was changing the batteries daily. With Zounds, I never have to change the batteries because they are rechargeable. I recharge them at night and it’s automatic. Another reason is when I decided I wanted new hearing aids, I went to 3 different places. They all had the same story. They wanted $5300 - $5800 for a pair and I could get a refund after 30 days if I didn’t like them. I pursued that and learned after the fact that I would get a refund of all bu... read more

It’s a big difference with Zounds. I’m a volunteer in a very busy ER and it’s amazing to be able to hear conversations more clearly so I can effectively help people. The Audiologist at the Zounds NYC office is so caring and one of the best practitioners I've ever worked with.
Due to the wonderful staff at Zounds NYC, I now have complete hearing in both ears. It is great to have a balanced base to hear conversations without having to strain to understand what people are saying.
I would be lost without my Zounds Hearing aid. It has improved the quality of my life in ways that words cannot describe. I can hear sounds that I haven’t heard before like birds singing in the morning. Also, the staff at Zounds has been wonderful in diagnosing my hearing problems and adjusting my hearing aid. I’m pleased beyond words!
After trying three different brands of hearing aids over a 15-year period, I am able to now understand my granddaughters! One of the reasons I chose an early retirement from teaching was that I could no longer understand my eighth grade female students and could not understand my female principal. Zounds has, without question, changed my social life and family interactions. Thank you!
I have to say that my life has changed since I discovered Zounds Hearing Aids. I am so very happy for this experience as I’m now hearing for the first time things I’ve never heard before. The TV volume went from 38-40 down to 15! And, I can now go to the movies and hear.
