Scheduled an appointment yesterday. Upon arrival the receptionist informed me there were no providers and the receptionist attempted to call me twice and it went to voice mail. I had zero missed calls and zero messages. I spent the day at the ER with my 2 children. I scheduled an appointment online for a sinus infection, completed all of the registration and pre-visit forms ahead of time, and drove to the location. When I arrived, I was told there was no physician on site and that all visits were being handled through telehealth. Because a sinus infection requires an in-person exam to check the ears and sinuses, they should have notified me or posted that information online before allowing me to book. What good is an urgent care that is open, with no one to actually see patients? Why set an appointment through an automated system that does not make it known that the "appointment" is for a virtual? When I called back to find out why the appointment we thought was an actual visit, was virtual, I was told that they "had some unforeseen circumstances! That should have been conveyed prior to someone driving there! Urgent care is just that, urgent care! Not, we'll call you when we can be bothered to call! Then canceling the app... read more
