I highly recommend Dr. Zinis. He is clearly experienced and knows his stuff. He is also very kind and took the time to explain exactly what my hip problem is. I left his office on each of my two visits with short term and long term plans. Scheduling was relatively quick, his staff was professional and pleasant, and Dr. Zinis was on time for both of my visits.
I never got to meet the doctor since I couldn't get an appointment. My care was handled by his staff. His staff is inefficient and did not seem to care at all about my issues. They did not fax orders to other doctors on a timely basis nor did they refill prescriptions on timely basis either. And when I tried to follow up with reminders or questions they seemed quite irritated. There is no patient portal so other than voicemail you have no way to reach them. Dr. Zinis is thorough, professional and compassionate
Waited 30 minutes and then asked how much longer. Was told there was still a patient ahead of that hadn’t yet been seen. I left. An hour wait is too much.
I have been seeing Dr. Zinis for nearly 9 years and have always received his undivided attention and care. He’s the type of doctor who will take a medical diagram out of the text book to show you and teach you what’s going on with your pain...he doesn’t just throw drugs at a problem and hope it goes away. His attentiveness to healing correctly and hopefully non surgically is admirable. I would recommend him to anyone.
DR ZINIS AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL OROPEDIC DOCTORS OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE FOUND DR ZINIS TO BE THE ABSOLUTE BEST. HE IS EXTREMLY WELL VERSED AND HAS GREAT DIAGONOSITIC SKILL. I have been a patient of Yanni Zinis for 20 years and can't praise him highly enough. He has taken care of my beat up body and kept me functioning. I have never had any problems with Yanni's diagnostics or treatments.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Zinnis for over 2 years now. He is the only medical professional who has helped me with my back pain and I’ve seem MANY. I would recommend him to everyone who needs help.
Don't go to this doctor! He did nothing except look at a 3 year old MRI, took some notes, and then charged $600+ for an exam! He never examined me, just sat there, took notes, ordered another MRI & said he would refer me to a doctor of my choice for shots in my back. It then took over two weeks and several phone calls to his office to get an MRI scheduled. I will never go back to him and will NEVER refer anyone to him.

Lynne, We are sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with the services at DSMS. Unfortunately, you may be mistaken that your EOB letter was your bill for that visit. The claim went to your insurance which paid for your visit, and your portion was only the copay. This is standard protocol for all medical offices.
