The whole experience was unforgettable. The service was very attentive and the staff was very knowledgeable and kind. The food was incredible the flavors were exquisite and presentation was absolutely beautiful. The ambiance was lovely as well. There was a piano player playing melodies when we arrived and about halfway through our dinner a man joined him singing. His voice was great and the music was soft and perfect for the atmosphere. The wild boar ossobucco was outstanding. Service and ambience were excellent. Don't let the fact that it is in a hotel deter you.
Predictably outstanding in all aspects, as usual, as well as reasonably priced for the location.
The mushroom soup was an outstanding appetizer and the seafood risotto was excellent. The risotto was properly cooked and was very flavorful. I highly recommend this Union Square gem. I will definitely return the next time I am in the City.
Warmly greeted by the host and server, Leon. Food and service were outstanding. The crab cakes were delicious and the penne con pollo perfect.

My wife and I have been to Zingari several times. We had an important business dinner and chose Zingari based on our past dinning experiences. We asked for a quiet table when we made the reservation.They totally took care of us from the memo net that we stepped into the restaurant. The staff was very attentive and all of us enjoyed the food. The table they picked for us was perfect for the discussion that we were having.
We had apps and drinks at the bar one night before returning to the hotel. They advertise a happy hour which looks very reasonable and the food we had was delicious. It's the hotel restaurant/bar for the Donatello, so you'll have to deal with the hotel crowd late night.
We stayed a week at the Westin St Francis right on Union Square.... and after a full day of "shop till ya drop" it was 9.30pm and we needed dinner, so we walked one block from the hotel to Zingari. I wasn't expecting too much here I'll be honest, but after we ordered our food, we were blown away! Yep it's great quality, pure italian, you can't fault it!
