Ignored Bride, Charged More Than Quoted – My sister booked Zilya's for her and her wedding party's hair and make-up. One bridesmaid had to cancel because her car borke down, but Zilya charged her anyway for the cancellation - which was ironic, because everyone at Zilya's was at least double-booked. In fact, my sister, the bride, only got partial attention on her wedding day, because Zilya (yes, the owner) shared the time with other non-bridal clients she'd booked. Expensive, Bad Service, Take Too Long & Don't Get Done – My sister went to Zilya's to get hair extensions (which were very pricey, btw). Her appointment went over three hours longer than they said it would, and they still didn't get done: there were 7 extensions that they did not do. Because they took so long even doing a partial job, my sister was late to meet her junior bridesmaids to pick out their dresses. Better than Milano! – I am not sure what these people are talking about but I recently move from Italia and have never been able to find a more better salon in Minneapolis. These stylist are all up to date on current styles and trends.....I wish they was in Milano! When I came in my hair was bad from older things done to it and I brought a picture with. Avoid!!!!! – I cant believe I even gave it one star!!! Im just letting people know stay away from this salon!!! I can't even begin to explain the service and what my hair looks like.... I hate it!!!
Hardly worth 1 star! – I would never recommend this salon to anyone! If you want a say in how your hair turns out, this is not the place to go! I asked for carmel and auburn hilights...I got red .... I asked if the hilights were going to be subtle...I got red streaks... Not worth the money! Spend your money else where! – I had an appointment with the owner. I was told on the phone that my haircut / color were going to be A LOT less. I found it VERY frustrating that after I got there, and told her what I wanted - just a trim & color to cover my gray. She proceeded to tell me, "I don't do trims I do haircuts" then told me, "Now while I go mix you color I will have my assistant share my prices with you." I was completely taken off guard. Great experience, Fabulous hair extensions! – I was interested in hair extensions so I started with a free consultation with Zilya. She explained the Great Lengths process, talked to me about what I want, answered my questions and offered suggestions to fit my style and budget. I went back a week later to have the extensions put in and the entire experience was fabulous!
