This review is real and authentic. I am posting it for the benefit of someone looking to do business with Zenplace. So please do consider this review before hiring these guys or you will regret. I hired these guys for finding tenant and PM for my house in Fremont. It has been the worst experience I had in my life. First of all there is no one you can talk to when needed. Owners, Read this First: A head’s up from a conscientious citizen. If anything goes wrong in your relationship with Zenplace i.e. if they perform poorly and you terminate before they provide services, their contract says you owe them the full amount plus additional monies. That means whether they do their job or not, well or poorly, you owe them at a minimum the full amount. (see actual language below). They’re not contractually incentivized to perform at all. This seems like a great company, however I was mislead when a representative called me based on an ad i posted on clist. She told me for a tenant move in only, meaning no property management, this would be 3.9% of the monthly rent. She literally quoted me a price, which is around 10% of what the actual cost is- cost is 3.9% of yearly, not monthly, rent. I did not mis hear monthly vs yearly as she gave me a specific price. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Hired them specifically to coordinate wall repairs and they dropped the ball several times due to high turnover. Kept calling in and they'd ask "What repairs?" Ridiculous. Asked to cancel my contract EIGHTEEN days ago and they have NOT RESPONDED. It's starting to feel like a SCAM rather than a professional company. No one communicates, different people each time, and no response...

TERRIBLE experience, company has high turnover, terrible responsiveness. I needed them to coordinate repairs and they left the repairs incomplete with a hole in the wall, called them later and the new employees had no idea about the repairs. I asked to terminate their property management contract 10 days ago and they still haven't responded!
