I wouldn't recommend zenplace to anybody. First of all, communication with them is a nightmare. Every time we call the person in charge of our case, there is different staff. And he would transfer us to different lines and eventually we got lost. They promised a few times to call back tomorrow, which they NEVER did. Secondly, their finance is a mass. We received 0 for the first half month'r rental, 1275 out of 3700 for the second month, full the 3rd, and 1450 for the 4th. They didn't give any reason for why. Not a word. And ... read more

The property manager is a nightmare for landlords. I am filtering out my great disappointment and just listing statements here: 1. It took 3 months to lease out my property in SF. At first Zenplace listed very high price saying our property is in superior condition. A month later they dropped 15%. Another month later, they dropped another 15% to be the lowest in the area. 2. Zenplace is the most unprofessional unethical property management co. I have ever dealt with. They had my property for 1 month and did 100%, nothing. When I said I wanted to end our relationship for the lack of them meeting their agreement, or actually doing anything, they 1st agreed to let me out of their agreement. So after doing nothing, and waiting for the letter he promised to send, they have demanded and threatened to take me to court for $2000 which is almost double of what they would have gotten if they actually did ... read more

Owners, Read this First: A head’s up from a conscientious citizen. If anything goes wrong in your relationship with Zenplace i.e. if they perform poorly and you terminate before they provide services, their contract says you owe them the full amount plus additional monies. That means whether they do their job or not, well or poorly, you owe them at a minimum the full amount. (see actual language below). They’re not contractually incentivized to perform at all. This review is real and authentic. I am posting it for the benefit of someone looking to do business with Zenplace. So please do consider this review before hiring these guys or you will regret. I hired these guys for finding tenant and PM for my house in Fremont. It has been the worst experience I had in my life. First of all there is no one you can talk to when needed.
