Food was borderline bad. Service was absolutely terrible. Broth had no flavor and was drastically under seasoned.

Literally everything from the fun and quirky Japanese inspired atmosphere to the dedicated and faithful menu items, Zen Box Izakaya is always a treat and in my top favorite restaurants of all time. My favorite pairing is a cold glass of draft Kirin Ichiban, Takoyaki and the Tonkotsu Ramen - I have tried mostly everything else but this is the combination that has me beyond 100% satisfied, every single time. Zen Box Izakaya is worthy of a 10/10, and worthy of every citizen of Minnesota's time and attention at least once.
