Dirty, stinky, with rats and cockroaches all around the place. Administration is terrible, only front desk staff doing good job!
Avoid this place at all costs. The property is poorly managed and consistently fails to meet basic habitability standards. The air conditioning is unreliable, pests are a constant issue even with regular pest control, and maintenance frequently enters units without proper notice — an unacceptable breach of tenant privacy. I’m a long-time resident of over 25 years at the Zen Apollo at 1234 Massachusetts Ave, N.W. I really enjoy living here. I personally like the solid building construction, the rooftop gym, and the pool and patio. The community is great too. I love the 24/7 concierge service which gives me a sense of safety along with friendly neighbors. The building engineers and management office are great.
