How do you take a deposit on a layaway. Refuse to refund the policy. Berate the customer for finding a better priced appliance , "who does that"he said. Finally he agreed to refund the 300 dollars. after weeks of telling her there were delays from the bank he finally said she could come in and pick her money up. When she got there she told him she couldn't find her receipt, mind you it was a written receipt that have carbon copies for the merchants who still use these.
