Tonight was my first time dining at Zarra's, my boyfriend had been wanting to take me there. Let me tell you it was well worth the wait!!! Hands down, THE BEST Italian food in Pittsburgh. Everything is homemade and you can absolutely tell it with every single bite. The outdoor patio was super cozy and for a minute, you don't feel like you are even in Pittsburgh. Will absolutely be back!! 20 out of 10 stars in my book!!
Amazing as always, we had the stuffed banana peppers, Manicotti with meatballa and Judy's Ricotta Noodles with meatballs! Great service and owner was around checking on tables, will be coming back again and again!
wonderful family restaurant. its like an old school Italian family made it feel like i was eating at grandma's and left feeling the same way: happy and stuffed
The food was excellent and Donny was an excellent server! It was our first time at Zarra's and we will definitely be back, Donny was an excellent waiter and very welcoming. Can't wait to go back!
Great place, great people and great food. Salad with crumbled blue cheese was the best. Ravioli and sausage was fantastic. Going back.
This is a must-visit restaurant in Pittsburgh! The staff and atmosphere are very welcoming right when you walk in. I really appreciated how the owner was on-site greeting customers and how all dishes were homemade and made with authentic Italian recipes! When I visited, I tried Baked Alaska for the first time (see photos) - Which was very delicious! As for the main entree’s... they are phenomenal. Blasts of flavor in every bite!
There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing our experience was tonight!!!! It was our first time eating here but definitely not our last. The food was perfect, dessert beyond delicious and the family that works is absolutely the icing on the cake. They’re taking a combination of great food and family and creating magic! This restaurant is one of a kind. Thanks for sharing your family’s love for food with the world.
