I love Yutaka been several times with no disappointment.
We went on a Sunday afternoon, during what is supposed to be their "prime" dining time. They certainly charge the premium during that time. The baked salmon was dry and discolored. The sushi was chunky, clunky, stuffed with rice and covered with so much "secret sauce" it was not really sushi anymore. As for the desserts, yeah, just avoid those. We have been before, when they first opened, for both lunch and dinner and it was wonderful. I won't have that craving again for a very long time, if ever. I was really disappointed.

Interesting variety of food; I suggest giving it a shot to see if it suits your tastes. The entree trays are very good, with variance though out the week, there is a salad bar, a fruit bar, sushi bar and a dessert bar, and I believe a grill? It's nice for a lunch. Haven't had their dinner yet, but give it a shot!
The buffet was HORRIBLE, the sushi was OK ... and to top off an awful dinner, the waitress dumped a plate in my husband's lap. Her response to that faux pas was to hand him a stack of napkins & tell is "we could" move to a new table. 1st & LAST time we'll eat here. Totally unacceptable!
If you are going to an Asian buffet or Mongolian grill I suggest you go here. It is very good. I can't believe that people complain at all about this place. They must be the people that eat all of that pre-made/canned food at Mom's diner. Lol
