I highly recommend this office. It is super easy and quick to get an appointment. Most of the time, I can get in that same day. Dr. Mark Hooker is a fantastic doctor with a genuine and caring attitude towards his patients. My partner has also seen Dr. Hansen when Dr. Hooker wasn't available, and he said she was great as well. I have been seeing Kathy Hansen for 7 years and so has the rest of my family. Some people complain about the referral and not accepting new patients is a good thing. This is a small practice not rediclinic or Kelsey Seabold. When you seat down with any of the staff they listen to you and form a relationship with you. They are a family doktor, I beat my life on that and so do several others. If you want a personal relationship with your doctor and not some doctor mill this is what your looking for. I'm a patient of Dr. Hartig's and I love her. Quick in and out of the office. I've been using her for 3 years. However, today I called for my husband. He just switched his insurance over to her in October considering the rave reviews I give her. Today he is sick and missing work. We called to get him in. They had a 9AM appointment until they found out he was a new patient. Then they told me he could not get in until Friday because of new patient. Staff is rude and uncaring. They just care about money not the well being of the patient. Staff cares about money, doesn't care if patient is sick. Don't waste your time. Gave this place two chances and they struck out both times. Going elsewhere. Doctors are ok, nothing special, but I know whenever I called to make an appointment the calendar was mostly empty. So that says a lot about the place. (Ppl don't go there)
Wonderful doctor's, very responsive staff – I am a patient of Dr Hartig and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone. I have no issues with a doctor's office feeling passionate about healthcare, even to the point of rallying against what they believe will be bad for the patient. Responce To nataliewould . – It should be remembered that a Doctors office Is a business and that no one forces you to go there. Thats going to happen when your Obamacare gets running full tilt. As for the late fee, 1, had you stopped at the window that was 2 ft away and told them you were leaving you would not have had to pay the fee. Or even called after you left. offensive politicking – I agree with rebecca1970. My family had seen Dr. Hartig for years, and even though none of us are fans of the office staff, Dr. Hartig is always great. But I needed a last-minute appointment because I was in from out of town and fell really sick with the flu and had to take an appointment with Dr. Hansen. The best I have found – I started seeing Dr. Bortallotti a couple of years ago. I have never waited 15 min. past my appointment time. The Doctor has listened to me and has found a life threatening problem that was caused by a prior doctors lack of followup on statin medication. I have moved to NW Houston and continue to drive 40 miles to see her. If she is not availible the other Dr's have taken care of me. right wing radical – As soon as I walked into the office she started talking about current politics, I found her comments very upsetting and unprofessional. I went there for a checkup and she was ranting about the president, healthcare, politics and even religion. This went on for over a half an hour. I went for a yearly checkup, she looked in my ears, throat and asked me about medications. Not a great physical and I was upset all day. My husband had an appointment next week which I cancelled.
