This is the only place to go if you want an endless amount of lobsters and steamers and the best potato salad to accompany them.. They have a huge vat of boiling salt water which cooks the lobsters almost instantly, which I think is why their lobsters are always sweeter and more tender than anyplace else up or down the coast...

I was here in August of 2013 and dream of going back. Long way from Oklahoma. Seriously thinking of going back this year for some more lobster. followup.....see you guys August 7th to start a week of eating at Young's Lobster Pound...........
The food was amazing and definitely worth the money. The mussels were the largest I've seen. Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed that you would not give a disabled veteran a discount... :(
Great selection of fresh, live lobsters, fully alive, not gasping for a last breath on some far-away restaurant's tank. They'll cook and make them ready to eat. They have a fine selection of eat there foods we didn't explore. The staff is skilled and have a delightful sense of humor. This is a great food service establishment.

Went there tonight, was hit on by three of the workers, as soon as we got out of the car. they charged me 61.70 for two lobsters steamed, and a haddock plate with no good potato salad and coleslaw. Nope never ever go back.
First experience at a lobster pound. Amazing. The guys were very helpful in selecting a lobster and prepping it for me after it was boiled. If I lived nearby, I’d be there at least twice a week.
First trip to Maine and wanted fresh seafood. This place has great food, fun atmosphere, & friendly workers.
