Ain’t nothing like sharing a hard shell 4lb lobster and 5lbs of steamers with my hubby at Young’s. It was our first of the season but far from our last. Jim loves the large size steamers and they never disappoint. Gotta love the crew working there, always a fun time.
The best place to eat a lobster and the view is so to die for
I’ve been eating here ever since I was a little girl, and the last three years have been my worst worst experiences that I have ever had !! I will never ever go back : all three years in a row the clams weren’t cooked, and the lobsters were half raw as well!!! when I asked for help with the meals nobody would help me !! It was disgusting!!! I had to throw my food away and walked out such a disappointment!!!! I wish I could give minus stars!!!!!
We’ve been to Young’s many times since moving to Maine and yesterday’s visit was such a disappointment. We ordered one lobster and steamers and 2 lobster rolls. All of the lobsters were severely over cooked. There was another couple who were having the same exact issue as us and no one seemed to want to fix it. I don’t want to say I’ll never try again but 78$ is a lot of money to have over cooked lobster.

Young’s Lobster Pound has been our special place for over 40 years. We would travel from Ohio to Belfast every summer until we relocated to South Florida. Now it’s only a flight away! Freshest lobsters and really great Family! We miss Bob and Claire but enjoy seeing their children whom we watched growing up in the business!
