We could not have found a better care home for my Dad! Dora and Caludiu are the best. The home is beautiful and clean. The caregiving was exceptional.
Young at Heart is a wonderful place. Dora and Claudio welcome your family member in and treat them with love, respect and dignity. I'm so glad we found them for our loved one. The home is beautiful, very clean, safe and Dora is a great cook. Dora also is an RN and has such a calming personality, she puts you at ease immediately. She and her husband, Claudio are exceptionally patient, caring people. I highly recommend Young at Heart for the needs of your loved ones.
As a long term care professional for 30 years, I can't speak highly enough of the care provided by Dora and Claudio. Young at Heart is a family run care home, where residents are really treated as family. The warmth and attention to detail is unparalleled. The fact Dora is an RN is also a huge plus. There is a reason for the high ratings Young at Heart gets.
My mom chose Young at Heart, and I am so glad. The home is lovely, with nice features such as a large deck. The residents' rooms are very nice, with lots of storage and a well-appointed bathroom. Mom loved the food, which was fresh and wholesome and smelled great. Most importantly, Mom was happy there, loved and was loved by the people that cared for her so skillfully. These are never easy decisions - I feel fortunate to have made this choice when we did as my dad spent the last year of his life at Young at Heart...it was a difficult year with many health challenges. Dora and her entire team provided exceptional care. They were vigilant, attentive, compassionate and kind even when it may have been challenging due to his changes in mood, declining health, and loss of independence.
