Honest Democratic Mechanic – It seems absurd to put a headline like this on a review for an auto mechanic, but the tone of the negative reviews on here lead me to believe that epistemic closure has come to citysearch. I doubt that many, if any of them has even done business with Yost Automotive, or if some semblance of what they describe actually happened, talked directly with Michael to try and resolve the situation. Big Mike & Little Mike – Mike Youst is the honest Automotive business in Austin. These people that are putting the hammer on him did not give him a chance to correct the problems they think they still have. Ive been doing business with Mike for about 4 yrs. now and will certainly go back. If Youst Automotive does work on your car and you are not happy get with Mike and let him know your concerns. Great Shop – I honestly have no idea what a lot of the people on here are talking about, and not just because they have terrible grammar. These guys are great and have always done nothing but quality, affordable work for me. I know a decent bit about cars, but every time I can't figure something out or don't have the time to fix it myself, I always take my car to Yost. They sell your information!!!!!!! – The day I took my car in I got a call from a State Farm agent to my cell phone! I had never gotten a sales call on that phone and never heard from State Farm before that day! If you value your privacy, don't take your car there!

The F Troop of Auto Shops – I heard good things about this place so I dropped my car off. Later in the week, after their "repair", the car wouldn't even start! They ended up charging ME to repair the stuff they broke the first time! Sure enough, after picking up the car the SECOND time, I can tell it's got new problems. The stick shift is shaking now and making noise, and the idle is messed up. I can see how this is going to go. Every time I take the car in I can expect new and interesting problems. No thanks. CRIMINAL: A total ripoff. – I wish I could give this awful place zero stars but Web 2.0 won't let me. Wow, let me catch my breath here because I just got totally screwed by this hellhole. I took the car in for brakes, pads, and A/C. The A/C blew hot air, so it was either a hose, freon, etc. The next day I pick it up, and later that evening I notice the battery light on and the E-Brake light faintly on. My car is more messed up each time I pick it up! – This shop finds more and more things to break! I would be taking my car back to them for the third time but I'd rather have another shop fix their mistakes. DO NOT GET TRAPPED IN THIS MONEY PIT LIKE I DID!

ripped off and screwed – the owner is a theif and lier, the do not have proper equipment and groovy automotive fixes all the screw ups, groovy told me that YOST AUTOMOTIVE WAS THERE BEST CUSTOMER, THATS SAYS IT ALL HOPE YOU GUYS GO TO JAIL
