Been going for years, and concern that treatment hasn't been working. All treatments I have to suggest and I don't feel like I'm being listened to. There is definitely some kind of sponsorship going on with certain products because they will shill them the vehemently down your throat. Ryan is particularly unprofessional and looks down on you at the same time. Doesn't remember my history and tries to pretend progress is made. Very hostile environment
It felt like a timeshare sales pitch when I first me the PA Ryan, everything about his approach was off. He was bouncing in and out of the room going back to other patients rooms which was very unprofessional. It’s like they trying to get you in and out as fast as possible without providing adequate service then turn around and bill ridiculous billing codes to the insurance company when service by the PA was less than 5 minutes. I have been seeing this office for a couple years. The appointment I had today was scheduled 3 months ago and when I arrived at 730 this morning, I was told the appt was canceled!! The reason given was there was an unpaid INSURANCE balance and until it was resolved, they would not be rescheduling me. I called the insurance company once they opened and the reason is because a different provider I saw the same day billed for the same code. I have used dr Lenzy for many years. Her and her staff are top notch. Very thorough and nice !! Highly recommend
You think you are going to see a dermatologist and no one tells you otherwise. Instead you see a physicians assistant (PA) - who may or may not have training or effective supervision from Dr. Lenzy. The PA identifies a lesion and gives it a couple of quick sprays of liquid nitrogen and leaves. Leaving you with a bill of almost $400 dollars of which insurance covers less than a quarter. If this is responsible medicine, then peanut butter crackers are a full meal, a red wagon is a Ford F-150, and a kitten is a racehorse.
I wanted to see Dr. Lenzy as I am black but I was told it would be about 6 months for an appointment. That was fine because the PA was also very good and attentive! Her assistant however was VERY unprofessional and unfriendly. I've considered not even going there anymore because of her. Not only does she never smile at anybody, but she makes small comments on my skincare in comparison to hers. Very disorganized. Waited 45 minutes. The exam was quick, while giving quick comments to the assistant that I could not understand. I was prescribed an ointment for a rash that made it burn. I called my Dr and was told to stop using it. I could hardly believe the paperwork they gave me as I walked out the door. The patient handout states that the Dr counseled me on 11 items! I recently had my first visit with Dr. Lenzy and I found her to be very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Not only was she thorough in her examination but she spoke to me in a way that allowed me to understand my scalp condition and treatment plan. I would highly recommend her for anyone facing skin or scalp issues.
The office staff is inefficient and not friendly. Arrived for my appointment and was told it was cancelled. This happened two times. Today I arrived and was told I would need to reschedule because there was no referral from my PCP. Office staff insisted they had called me regarding this. I never received a call. I learned they used a prior phone number that I had informed the office was no longer my number. They didn't care about my inconvenience. Dr. Lenzy is great IF you get to see her!
