My biggest complaint is the staff for child care drop off. They are unwelcoming and seem very annoyed and uninterested in the children. I do not expect the very best, I understand this is not a daycare facility. However, I cannot enjoy this ymca with peace of mind. The toys are disgusting and none that I have played with with my two toddlers even work. I will be looking for a different ymca that has an acceptable child care facility.
I really love the instructors. I have kept my membership for 7 years because of 1 class! I look forward to there being a date on an additional fan being added to the stage side of the group exercise room. This will help keep the room safe and up to par with other gyms that provide cardio centered classes. Add the fan and I will rate this Y a 5!
Love it !! Jennifer and Shelley's group exercise and cycling classes are THE BEST ! The Y is also nice, familial compare to Blocker Norfolk. The only missing things are the towels and the steam room that they have in Norfolk.
Went there for my son's basketball ball game. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
My son loves the before and After school program here! He loves to go swimming! The staff are very accommodating and friendly!
