I am updating my review of the Mt Trashmore Family YMCA, because of all the good things that they have done. First of all my son has been with them since kindergarten in the before and after school program and he absolutely loves them! Miss Abbey runs an amazing program. The Y has given him confidence and strength. From a building side I 100% LOVE the entire staff there! From Miss Nancy in finances time the FD! They are all great!
Huge location but the group exercise room was EXTREMELY hot. Overall great place!
So i visited once as a guest of a member and they were awesome, mostly. The front desk was very welcoming and explained everything about a possible membership for me, the zumba class i attended was great. The childcare was in general great they were very nice, it was a little dated and I thought it could use an update but overall my kids liked it. But i was unhappy with one of the employees and how she talked to the kids and other staff. When i asked who she was i was informed her name was Summer. She talked down to the staf... read more
The adult soccer and futsal programs are outstanding.
YMCA is great for families. You get nice exercise equipment and classes that include child care all for 1 price. The staff in the child care area is excellent! Tons of toys and games for all. The front desk staff could be a little friendlier . The trainers are super nice and very helpful. The monthly parent night outs are icing on the cake. Definitely give the way a try. They have multiple locations to suit all your needs.
