We just pcsed back to JBLM, and I currently go to Yelm Family Medicine. I love this clinic, so much better than any clinics on base. :) This place is amazing and everyone, so far, has been kind and amazing. They're actually pretty caring and helpful with anything that you may need. I would suggest this location to anyone.
My question, that I attempted to pose in a private message but received no answer back, is what is the definition of a “private medical facility” exactly? My wife brought our daughter to see about getting treatment and she was turned away even though we are willing to pay cash to be seen. The first reason why was because we have Tricare and I know why you won’t take that insurance, but am confused as to how a medical establishment can refuse care to a paying customer.
This is the worse place I have been! I have 2 insurances and just because they don't take my secondary, even though they could see me with my primary and I can pay the copay Dr Robyn Davies say she is NOT gonna see me, when I asked even with my first insurance, the lady in the front said no she don't want to see you sorry! How F up is that!
It took me a month of getting transferred and leaving messages to find out they wouldn’t take my insurance and wouldn’t refer my to an oncologist because I wasn’t a patient for three years (I’ve only been in Washington a year and saw Dr. Dorhauer last year) Waste of my time! Thanks for nothing!
What a joke. I’m glad they make sure they get paid but they don’t give a crud about your family or their health. Don’t waste your time if your looking for a real family physician.
