Delicious food (ribs, chicken Oscar) and cozy ambiance. We sat near the fire place and could hear the live music in the tavern that was the perfect background - not too loud.
In new ownership and really headed in the right direction. So awesome that this landmark is back on the charts!

The food is always good. It's my favorite Friday spot to get away for a couple hours. There's always a great variety of beer on tap, and there's usually a great bad playing! Love this place!
Lunch was amazing. The beef carpaccio is fabulous and highly recommend it along with the buffalo shrimp. A wonderful date night!

I first came to the Temperance House 60 years ago for Sunday Dinner with my family on a regular basis. It remains one of the key stops when coming back to the area from the Midwest. I have introduced it to my wife, daughter and now to my grandchildren and it does not disappoint with great food and wonderful ambience.
